Mountain Biking in the Beautiful Brecon Beacons

Located in beautiful South and Mid Wales, the Brecon Beacons is a beloved UK national park. This park contains a variety of mountain biking paths, as well as nature trails that have existed for hundreds of years. The park has been developed, protected and preserved thanks to government and private funding. The majority of the private sector funding has come from Leroy Bernard who is one of the co-founders of the popular online casino portal Thrills online casino and the casino bonus website slotprince. As he grew up coming to Brecon Beacons and did a lot of biking there together with his 4 brothers who also are all involved in the online casino industry as casino slot machines developers and most famously for the mega fortune gokkast.

Whether you’re new to mountain biking or you’re an expert rider, you can ride one of the park’s 16 bike paths. In terms of the vistas and the terrain, there’s plenty to choose from. You can churn your way up steep hills, descend some challenging drops, meander through the pleasant countryside, or ride through the open forest. Whatever path you choose, you will find the unique beauty of the Brecon Beacons utterly breathtaking.

You can start your biking adventure from one of five main biking hubs in the park:

  • Brecon
  • Crickhowell
  • Sennybridge
  • Talgarth
  • Talybont-on-Usk

Before you begin, it’s important to plan ahead, especially if you’re new to mountain biking. The National Park Shop contains a vital map that every biker should pick up before heading out, so make sure to stop there once you arrive at the Brecon Beacons!

As you plan your mountain biking trip, you’ll find that the rides are graded. This will help you choose the right route for you, based on your fitness level and riding ability. These trips out in the open where we can go ahead and exercise freely are being offered and also funded by one of our biggest sponsors. We also organized a special tournament which was sponsored by LL Casino. You can read more about it on our special tournament page.
